I was recently told by my wife that after years of feeling neglected and unwanted that she does not love me any longer and is not sure that she can retrieve those feelings. I was truly unaware that I was causing so much pain. She told me, cried in front of me and because I was wollowing in my own misery (none of which was caused by her) I could not hear what she was saying. When she told me the devastating news it was like being hit over the head with a hammer. My wife and kids are the single most important thing to me and my self loathing for not being able to see and cut off what I was doing is consuming me. I have begun the repairing of myself and want to know if there is anything I can do to help restore the love that my wife once felt for me. Before I met her I prayed that God would bring a woman into my life that would except me for me, that had strong Christian values, that would be a great mom and he delivered her to me and I squandered that beautiful gift. Please help if you can. Any and all advised is greatly appreciated.
